We are committed to providing your pet with the highest quality of care throughout his or her entire lifetime. We are also committed to making sure that care is affordable.
Choosing us will ensure that your pet receives comprehensive wellness care, including yearly examinations, vaccines, heartworm testing and parasite prevention. The Animal Medical Center of Troy offers state-of-the-art diagnostics, as well as general, and orthopedic surgery. We also offer laser treatments to help ease pain and speed wound healing.
With a combined 30 years of clinical and emergency experience, your Animal Medical Center of Troy in MO veterinarians have the expertise needed to provide the best possible care for your pet. Our vets can make referrals to the Veterinary Specialty Services in St Louis, or Veterinary Specialty Services in WInghaven, MO.
How We Began
Opened in 2000 by Dr. J. Ryan McCann, we have grown from a small, one-vet practice to a 8,600 square foot facility with four full time veterinarians. While the practice has grown, Animal Medical Center’s goal remains the same to provide the highest quality care in an environment that is both friendly and welcoming.
Missouri Veterinary Medical Association
Professional veterinary associations provide ongoing educational opportunities that keep veterinarians and other medical staff members up to date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine.
In keeping our commitment to providing your pet with the highest quality care, and our veterinarians are certified from the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, a statewide veterinary organization “dedicated to the highest standards for professionalism and ethics in animal health care in Missouri.”
Our Philosophy of Care
Our clients (and their pets) become our friends. The close interaction and strong relationship between staff and clients help us get to know you and your pet and make you and your pet feel safe and comfortable each time you walk through our doors.
In the Community
We proudly supports a number of animal rescue organizations, including Midwest Mastiff Rescue, Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Needy Paws, and Daughtry Rescue.
The Center is also a member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and the Elsberry American Legion Post #226 and is a proud sponsor of Ace’s Baseball.
